The waking has

Demonstrated the role

Of the nightmares that

Continues breaking in sobs.

Tumbling in ragged

Distress, the movements

Stir in jerks, not aware

This keeps the struggle constant.

Rising from the turmoil

Seems to drive the look

Where the tears deliver

Another haunting finish.
